Community of Oscata inVita
About us
The tangible and intangible heritage of the Rural Kitchens of Alta Irpinia is brought to life and enhanced by the local community, united in the association Pro Loco Oscata inVita APS. Members, volunteers, and friends of the association take part in every event and promote initiatives and projects to enhance the village. The association is made up of local residents, farmers, and artisans; of regular visitors who cultivate gardens, vineyards, and olive groves in Oscata; and of first- and second-generation descendants of emigrants who live elsewhere but maintain deep ties to their roots. During the events, the people of Oscata express their passion for food and wine, agriculture, beekeeping, art, and literature. The Oscata inVita association has simply fostered the connection between the skills and passions of its inhabitants and the tangible and intangible heritage of the place.
